THE ALMA BARRACKS MUSEUM REFURBISHMENT
M&E SUB CONTRACT
The Alma Barracks at Carlisle Castle was a conversion of the existing barracks into a museum, telling the story of Cumbria’s County Infantry Regiment as well as the lives of its soldiers and their families from 1702 to the present day. J&J Electrical and Cumbria Mechanical completed all M&E works involved with the conversion.
The work carried out included:
- New heating and hot water system
- Air handling
- Full rewire
- LED lighting and power
- Voice and data
- Installation of BMS
